About the Editor

Jack Hughes is owner and editor of Planet Network Management. (Well, technically Openxtra Limited owns the site and Jack owns a big lump of Openxtra.) He founded planetnetworkmanagement.com in June 2009 in the belief that network management doesn't get nearly the coverage it deserves. Jack has been involved in network management for a lot more years than he'd care to remember. He also blogs about network management on The Tech Teapot blog.

History of Planet Network Management

June 2009 - launched the original Planet Network Management using the excellent PlanetPlanet software.

February 2010 - re-launched the site using Drupal and the UD Planet module.
